Attua / Enquiry information
What happens
to your details.
This note covers the call-request and speaking-enquiry forms, and pricing calculator on this website.
What you share
The form asks for your name, work email and organisation. You can also tell us what you would like to change and when you are usually available. The speaking form also lets you share an event name, date or timeframe, preferred format, audience, location and brief. Please leave out sensitive personal details and confidential business information.
Why we ask
Sam uses your details to respond to your enquiry, understand what you need and arrange a call or discuss a speaking engagement. Sending a form does not subscribe you to marketing emails or create a calendar booking.
How the form works
The website sends your enquiry to sam@akta.media through Resend. Enquiries and their email delivery status are saved in private server storage for up to 30 days so a temporary delivery problem does not lose your request. Delivery retries use the same request identifier to reduce duplicate emails. The resulting email remains in Sam’s mailbox and may be held by the email services involved.
The local preview is different: a clearly marked test submission is saved only on the computer running the preview. It is not emailed.
The pricing calculator
Before using the calculator, you provide an email address and agree to share your selections with Sam for this enquiry. We collect the email, selected service and scope, indicative estimate, calculation times and up to 12 recent scope snapshots. If you use the optional value scenario, this also includes task frequency, net time saved, hourly value, software allowance and the calculated time-value figures. If you request a call, we also collect your name, organisation, stated budget, timing and optional context. Please do not enter sensitive personal information or confidential business details.
The server saves calculator enquiries in private storage for up to 30 days from creation. Sam receives an initial enquiry email, up to two grouped activity summaries and the estimates or call requests you submit. Activity summaries help Sam understand an enquiry even if you leave before completing an estimate. The inbox copies are separate records and remain until deleted by Sam and the email services involved. Calculator use is not a marketing subscription and does not create a calendar booking.
A necessary, first-party session cookie lets you return to the calculator in the same browser for up to 24 hours. It contains a random session credential, not your email or answers. Your details are not put in page addresses or sent to advertising analytics. “Change email” ends the current browser session; it does not delete the enquiry already shared. Contact Sam below to ask for deletion.
In local preview mode, the same flow saves test files only on the computer running the site. No emails are sent. In live mode, enquiries are sent through Resend to Sam’s mailbox. Tiiny hosts the public website. The enquiry API is configured for Render in Singapore, with Resend delivering notifications to Sam’s mailbox. These service providers process information to provide the website, storage and email functions. Information may be processed outside Australia.
Browser storage and spam protection
The call-request and speaking-enquiry forms do not save your answers in local storage, put them in the page address, or send them to analytics. The server temporarily counts requests by network address to limit spam.
Booking directly in the calendar
If direct booking is available, Google’s appointment calendar loads only when you choose “See available times”. Google then processes the details you enter, your selected time and technical information needed to provide the booking service. The calendar’s confirmation and invitation confirm your appointment. Your calculator answers are not automatically passed to Google; use the same email so Sam can match your booking to your enquiry.
