AI training for teams that's built around their actual work

Here's what usually happens. A business buys AI licences, sends round a link to a generic online course, and three months later about four people use it. Everyone else either doesn't trust it, doesn't know what to use it for, or tried it once and got a weird answer.

Training is where AI either sticks or quietly dies. So I do it differently.

Practical, not theoretical

Every session I run is shaped around the real work your people do. Before training, I find out what each group spends their time on, which tools you already have, and what your rules are around data. Then the session uses those tasks, those tools and those rules.

A front of house manager learns how to draft rosters and reply to reviews. An admin team learns how to summarise documents and clean up data. Leaders learn how to use AI for reporting, planning and decisions. Everyone learns where AI goes wrong and how to check it.

What your team will learn

What a good session feels like

People walk in a bit sceptical, which is fair. Most have seen AI write something confidently wrong. So I start there. We look at a real task from their week, try it the old way and the AI way, and talk honestly about where it helped and where it didn't. By the end, the sceptics are usually the ones asking the best questions, because they've learned to check the work rather than trust it blindly.

The goal isn't to turn everyone into an AI expert. It's to make sure every person knows two or three ways it saves them time, knows the rules, and feels comfortable asking for help. That's what makes adoption stick across a whole business, not just with the early enthusiasts.

After the session

Everyone gets a short cheat sheet for their role with the prompts and checks we covered. Managers get a simple way to track how the team is using it, so you can see whether the training worked and where people need more support.

Shaped around who's in the room

A session for your leadership team looks different from one for site managers or admin staff. Training can sit alongside an AI strategy, or follow an AI implementation so the people using the new system know how it works. The format, length and whether it runs in person or online are agreed with you up front.

Who it's for

Teams in businesses of roughly 50 to 500 staff, across any industry. It works especially well for multi-site businesses, where you need every location using AI the same way.

In person sessions are easiest across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. Online sessions work anywhere in Australia.

Why train with Attua

I use this stuff every day. I run a business and use AI across it. Your team learns from someone who does the work, not someone who read about it.

I speak human. No jargon. If your least technical staff member walks out confused, I haven't done my job.

Your judgement, your voice. My whole approach is human craft, machine assist. I teach people to use AI as a helper, not a replacement for their thinking or their personality.

What does training cost?

Training is scoped up front, so you know the cost before we start. It depends on how many people are involved, how much preparation is needed and whether it's in person. See the AI consulting cost guide.

Frequently asked questions

Do my staff need any technical knowledge?
No. Sessions start from the basics and are built around everyday work.

Which AI tools do you train on?
Whatever your business uses or plans to use, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Google Gemini. If you haven't chosen yet, I can help with that first.

Can training be done online?
Yes. Online sessions work anywhere in Australia. In-person sessions are available in South East Queensland and elsewhere by arrangement.

Will you cover privacy and safe use?
Yes. Every session covers what should and shouldn't go into AI tools, based on your own business rules.

How many people can attend a session?
Hands-on workshops work best with smaller groups so everyone gets to practise. We'll agree numbers with you up front.
